11The roadmap

From an idea to an international automotive challenge

Ghosts Riders is built in stages, on one simple rule: start with what is already available, build a real audience, and let the project grow into a professional production and an exceptional automotive event. Nothing here waits on a budget that does not exist yet.

This page leaves the film's universe

Every other section of this site speaks from inside the story. This one does not. What follows is the actual production plan: what is being made now, what comes next, and what each stage has to produce before the following one becomes possible. Companies named on this page are targets of approach or equipment already owned — none of them is a partner, and none has agreed to anything.

Method

Start with what exists

The final stage of this project is an automotive challenge that no independent creator can finance from a standing start. So it is not the first stage.

The first stage is a short film made with tools that are available today, in a car that is already parked outside. Each step after it is paid for, in credibility and in audience, by the step before.

Ghosts Riders does not begin with a record nobody can fund. It begins with a story, a car that already exists, and a first piece of work that is actually within reach.

The four stages

Each stage funds the next

01Short filmStage in progress

GENESIS

A prologue, not the whole story

The first stage is a cinematic short film created with the AI video tools offered by Higgsfield, made for submission to the Higgsfield Global Film Festival.

It does not try to tell the story of the feature. It is a prologue and a proof of concept — the fastest honest way to turn a written universe into something that can actually be watched.

Expected result

A three-to-five-minute short film, working title Ghosts Riders: Genesis.

Entering a competition is not being selected for it. No festival result is claimed, expected or implied on this site.

What it has to show

The visual universe of Ghosts Riders

The character of Ghost Rider 55598

The car and the passenger

The technological, mysterious, cinematic register

The relationship between the human, the machine and artificial intelligence

The intent to turn old illegal races into modern, controlled, accountable challenges

Objectives

State the identity of the project publicly

Test the art direction and the narrative

Enter the Higgsfield competition

Produce a first usable trailer

Attract collaborators, sponsors and future partners

Have something concrete to show film professionals

02Automotive conversation seriesPlanned

ROAD SESSIONS

A guest, a road, a conversation

The second stage is a video series filmed in the Mercedes CLA already in use — presented as the project's first official vehicle and the recon car of Ghost Rider 55598.

Each episode takes one person, chosen or volunteering, for a drive, a discussion and a look at the project. The format borrows the energy of conversational car shows while keeping an identity of its own.

Expected result

A regular audience, and proof that Ghosts Riders can exist as an automotive channel before the feature is produced.

Road Sessions are filmed on open public roads and are never a driving demonstration. Any commercial arrangement is disclosed inside the episode it funds.

Possible content

The guest and their background

Cars, music, artificial intelligence, creation

Discovering a region or a route

Scouting future shooting locations

Progress on the project

Mobility and the cars of the future

Artists, entrepreneurs, enthusiasts and potential partners

Production rules

Every drive complies with road traffic law

The priority is the conversation, the human experience and the project — never speed

Cameras are installed before departure, to limit distraction at the wheel

Every guest consents to being recorded and broadcast

Possible revenue

Episode sponsorship

Clearly identified brand placement

Voluntary community support

Crowdfunding

Video platform revenue, once accessible

Affiliation on equipment actually used

Clothing and objects from the Ghosts Riders universe

Contributions from automotive, creative or technology partners

THE MOVIE

The point where a crew replaces a laptop

Once the short film and the Road Sessions have built an audience, a track record and partnerships, the project can move to an actual production. The Tesla Model 3 becomes the main car of the shoot.

Expected result

A finished film that can be presented to festivals, streaming platforms, distributors, automotive partners, investors, cultural institutions — and to the audience built during the first two stages.

The vehicles named here are cars the production intends to use or acquire. No manufacturer is attached to the project, and none has agreed to anything.

What it requires

Director and first assistant director

Director of photography

Camera operators

Sound engineer

Lighting crew

Editor and visual effects specialists

Vehicle coordinator

Stunt performers and professional drivers

Production team

Appropriate insurance

Filming permits

Circuits or temporarily closed roads

Camera cars and safety equipment

Why the Model 3

It brings the Tesla line into the project without waiting for a Roadster to become available

It is the transition between the Mercedes CLA recon car and the professional production

It carries the film until the Roadster of the final challenge exists

04Automotive eventLong term

ROADSTER CHALLENGE

The homage, made legal

The final stage becomes an automotive project independent of the film shoot. The point is not to reproduce illegal races on open roads. It is to pay tribute to the historical performances associated with Ghost Rider by turning them into officially organised challenges.

A Tesla Roadster would attempt to match or exceed certain results associated with Ghost Rider, in a legal, secured and controlled environment. Depending on the permits granted and the technology available, several categories could exist.

Expected result

Turning a contested legacy into a modern automotive event connecting cinema, technology, artificial intelligence, electric mobility, performance, art, safety and innovation.

Every organisation listed above is a party the project intends to approach. None has been engaged as a partner, none has agreed to participate, and no affiliation is implied.

Who would have to be involved

Tesla

Local authorities

Circuit and closed-road operators

Automotive engineers

Professional drivers

Medical and safety teams

Official timing bodies

Insurers

Technology partners

Producers and broadcasters

Possible categories

Performance with a professional driver

Performance with advanced driver assistance

Human against artificial intelligence

Electric range and endurance

Technology demonstration

Circuit record

A run on a fully closed and secured road

Founding principle

Safety, legality and transparency come before performance

The project will never present an assistance system as fully autonomous driving for as long as human supervision is required. That sentence is not marketing language — it is the line that separates this project from the legend it is built on.

The car, stage by stage

Three cars, one continuity

No stage waits for the vehicle of the stage after it. The car the project already owns is the car the project starts with.

01 — 02In use

Mercedes CLA

Recon vehicle

Privately owned. Used for scouting and for the Road Sessions.

03To acquire

Tesla Model 3

Production vehicle

The car of the feature film, and the transition to the final stage.

04Target

Tesla Roadster

Challenge vehicle

Subject to availability, funding and every authorisation the event requires.

Overall progression

Four sentences, four years

01

A vision becomes a short film.

02

The short film becomes an automotive series.

03

The series builds a community and funds a film.

04

The film brings together the partners the final challenge requires.

Each stage produces the resources, the experience, the credibility and the audience that make the next one possible. Nothing in this plan depends on a single decision by a single company.

This roadmap describes intentions, not commitments. Dates, vehicles, formats and participants are subject to funding, authorisation and agreement, and may change entirely. Tesla, Mercedes-Benz and Higgsfield are named here as manufacturers of equipment the project uses or intends to use, or as organisers of a competition it intends to enter. None of them is affiliated with, associated with, or endorsing this project.
